Men's Basketball Falls to Salem International University

The Knights traveled to Salem, WV on Tuesday to play at Salem International University. KCU had a very rough first half, scoring only 30 points, and giving up 68, but managed to outplay and outscore Salem International in the second half, but not quite enough to overtake them on the scoreboard. The Knights outscored their opponent 53-41 in the second half, but still were down significantly when time expired. The final was Salem International 109 and Kentucky Christian 83. KCU was led in scoring by Caleb Ford with 19 and Trevor Hunt with 15. Ros Goodwin came off the bench with a hot hand, and scored 11 in 14 minutes. Adam Hopkins had 9 points and Boyce Wooten dropped in 8. Hopkins and Ford were KCU's leading rebounders, with 5 each. KCU is now 6-12 on the season.

The Knights play next on Friday evening when they host Welch College. They will play Morthland College on Saturday afternoon.
