Men’s Soccer Loses to Ohio Christian

10.10.2012 | Grayson, KY

The Kentucky Christian University men’s soccer team hosted the #3 team in the nation, Ohio Christian University, Wednesday afternoon and lost 0-7. The loss puts the Knights into the play-off game of the Mid-East region tournament and puts OCU in the top spot.

Even though it was a tough loss the Knights have nothing to hang their heads about and Head Coach Jeremy Miller agrees, “The boys played hard today. Good effort for most of the game. We were able to compete better against OCU this time around. Hopefully if we get the chance to play them again this season we will improve even more.”

The Knights are traveling to Michigan for two games this weekend against Grace Bible College on Friday and Kuyper College on Saturday. They won’t be on their home field again until the week of the Mid-East Region Tournament when they host Shawnee State University on Tuesday October 23 at 5pm.
