KCU was outscored 36-42 in the first half, but managed to win the second half 45-41, but ultimately lost by 2 points, 81-83.
KCU was led by junior forward Jana Glick with 22 points and 7 boards, on 10 of 12 shooting. Tanya Bowens had 21 points and 7 assists while Sharonda Jones dropped in 13 and had 4 rebounds.
