Lady Knights Honored at National Banquet

On Wednesday evening in Joplin, MO, at the National Christian College Athletic Association Division II Women's Basketball Banquet, several Lady Knight players were honored for their outstanding efforts and achievements during the season.

Tanya Bowens, KCU Senior Guard, was named to First Team All-America, and was the 2014 National Player of the Year.

Sharonda Jones, KCU Senior Forward, was named Second Team All-America.

Additionally, three players were named as Scholar-Athletes, the NCCAA equivalent of Academic All-America. The players named are: Junior Forward Jana Glick, Junior Guard Katelyn Meyer, and Senior Forward Sharonda Jones.
