Lady Knight Basketball Signs Portsmouth Star

4.9.2014 | Clay High School -- Portsmouth, OH

On Tuesday, April 9 Coach Ron Arnett traveled to Portsmouth, OH to ink his third recruit of the season, Portsmouth Clay High School standout Katie Redding. Katie a 6'0" center for the Panthers, and was the conference player of the year in her division.

Coach Arnett spoke about Katie: "For the past several months Katie Redding has been our number one recruiting prospect. She plays basketball with a great understanding of the game. She played post for Clay High School and will play a forward position for KCU. Katie is an outstanding student and was Southern Ohio Conference Most Valuable Player, and 1st Team All District this past season. We are excited to have Katie join our program as she is the anchor of this season's recruiting class. I have high expectations for Katie as she grows into the leadership role at KCU that she earned at Clay High School during her time there. The support from her family and school make this an extra special signing for our program."
