Katie Fuller Becomes Lady Knight Basketall Player
Katie Fuller played high school basketball at Fairland HS in Proctorville, OH, not far from the KCU campus. Coach Arnett recruited her out of high school, but she signed with another school. She played her freshman year, scoring 3.45 PPG in 11 appearances, but she was not content with her choice of schools and programs. After taking a break during the 2013/14 season, she has decided to transfer from Ohio University to KCU to restart her hoops career.
She is a 5'7" Guard, and will have 3 years of eligibility remaining when she arrives on campus. Coach Ron Arnett is pleased to be getting a second shot at such a fine talent. "Katie comes to us after sitting out a year. We looked at her as a high school senior but she chose to go to another school. Now, she is going to be a Lady Knight and I am just as excited as I was when she was a senior. She is athletic, has good speed, handles the ball well, and has a much improved offensive game which will put her in good position for playing time right away. She is an outstanding student and I am pleased we have been able to have her join the program."
