Lady Knights have Good Showing against Johnson

10.5.2012 | Grayson, KY

The Kentucky Christian women’s soccer team hosted Johnson University in their second and final regular season match-up. Coach Joshua Miller was looking to get his team back into the win column after a long week off. A coach never knows how his team will play after more than a week off, and Coach Miller found out quickly how the time off affected his team, “We came out slow today but found our pace and worked well all the way around the field. It was another big region win and we are looking forward to playing Ohio Christian tomorrow.”

After getting their game legs back underneath them the Lady Knights attacked Johnson quick and often scoring eight of their 11 goals in the first half. The scoring was spread out among the team with #18 Kymmy Owens leading all scorers with a hat trick for the evening.

KCU travels to OCU for a 12pm kick-off tomorrow, check in on Facebook and Twitter for live updates.
