KCU Topples OCU

10.6.2012 | Circleville, OH

Whenever KCU travels to Circleville to play Ohio Christian they know they are going to be in for a battle, no matter what sport they are playing. The Lady Knights soccer team was prepared to battle today. As what seems to become the norm for Kentucky Christian the team got off to a slow start, but once they got going they were tough to stop.

Freshman midfielder #18 Kymmy Owens was the catalyst for the offense for the Lady Knights scoring four of the six goals and assisting on another goal. Senior midfielders #12 Kala Dorsey and #19 Olivia Sanders each added a goal of their own to contribute to the KCU 6-0 win.

“Our team came ready to play today. It was good to get another positive region win. Even though there were points of the game where we didn’t play to our potential it was nice to have the team work so well together this weekend. We look forward to turning around hosting Ohio Christian on Wednesday.” (Head Coach Joshua Miller)
