Freshman soccer player Kymmy Owens was named the NCCAA National Player of the Week for division two women’s soccer. Owens earned this honor by having two outstanding games this past week.

In the Lady Knights home game against Johnson University, Owens scored a hat trick (three goals) and added an assist. The next day KCU traveled to Mid-East rival Ohio Christian and Owens scored four goals and added another assist, making her total for the two games seven goals and two assist.

Coach Joshua Miller was proud of the honor, “Kymmy is a good player, but more importantly she is a good teammate, a hard worker and an unselfish player. I am happy that her strong play has been recognized.”
