Lady Knight Soccer Wins at Johnson University

Lady Knight soccer advanced their record to 2-10 on Friday against Johnson University with a 3-0 victory. KCU scored one time in the first half, and then twice more in the second to secure the victory. Sophomore Midfielder Erin Dillow scored in the 20th minute to give KCU the advantage, then she assisted Abby Clay in both the 54th minute and the 66th for KCU's 2nd and 3rd scores.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Gallinger carded her second shutout of the season, while making only 1 save, late in the 2nd period when Johnson's Talley Barwick fired their only on-goal shot of the game. The Lady Knights took 25 shots on-goal, out of 35 shots. KCU was awarded 4 corner kicks, while allowing Johnson University on 2.

The Lady Knights travel to Shawnee State University on Monday, to take on the Bears at 2 PM. The Lady Knights are now 2-10, with 2 matches to play prior to the post-season.
