Volleyball Remains Unbeaten in Mid-East

10.5.2012 | Grayson, KY

The second half of the Mid-East Region regular season has started and the Lady Knights remain undefeated with their win over The Crown College tonight. The Lady Knights knew from their game at Crown earlier in the season that if they didn’t come out ready to play they could easily drop a set or the game and they did not want to ruin their perfect Mid-East record. Starting the game with intensity KCU was able to get the early lead on the Crusaders and keep it till the 25-12. Going off the momentum from the first set the Lady Knights were able to win the next two sets 25-14 giving them the 3-0 victory.

Coach Dixon was pleased with the game and the results, “Overall a solid effort tonight, we were consistent and play with the same effort throughout the entire game. We had players that don’t typically get a lot of playing time fill in for some injured players and they did a great job in doing so. Everyone that stepped onto the court played hard and showed a real team effort tonight.”
